We are pleased to see that Médecins Sans Frontières, an international relief charity, are getting recognition for their recent DRTV campaign by the National Fundraising Awards. The campaign, known as ‘Natalie’s Voice’, was designed to recruit new regular givers to the charity. The DRTV ad, recorded in Yeman, is a first person account from Dr Natalie Roberts to raise awareness of the situation out there and asks people to donate from their phones. Having planned and bought this campaign, M.i. Media are thrilled to see the results exceed forecasts by 28%!

We are delighted to hear that Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) have reported a 29% increase in their fundraising value year on year.
The widespread Ebola coverage has obviously had a huge impact on raising MSF’s awareness in 2014, but M.i. Media have ensured that they have expanded their recruitment activity to maximise on potential returns.
This has been carried out by broadening their traditional insert activity and working with WPN Chameleon on re-testing DRTV, with great success. DRTV has now become a regular channel for them with consistent returns; an initial ROI double previous levels and having been optimised, it is now seeing a return close to three times historic levels.

In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES took swift action and with the help of our Emergency Response Process was able to deliver one of their best ever emergency response campaigns.
A quick-to-market national press campaign, using key titles, was able to galvanise thousands of donations. Key front-half positioning next to news articles covering the aftermath of the typhoon underpinned MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES involvement with the relief effort and the value of their work in the Philippines.
